Pregnancy support belts and abdominal straps are widely marketed as comfort aids, but research and medical professionals have raised serious concerns about their risks:

• Restricted fetal movement — Compression around the abdomen can limit the baby's ability to move freely, which is essential for healthy development.
• Reduced blood flow — Tight straps can compress major blood vessels, reducing circulation to both mother and baby.
• Increased pressure complications — Improper use can contribute to placental abruption and other serious pregnancy complications.
• In severe cases, fetal distress or death — Prolonged or improper compression has been linked to tragic outcomes that no family should ever face.

We reviewed the research and made the decision: we will not sell these products. Period.

The Hidden Dangers of Baby Carriers & Slings

Baby carriers and slings are popular — but they come with well-documented risks that are not always clearly communicated to parents:

• Positional asphyxiation — Babies, especially newborns, can slump into a chin-to-chest position that cuts off their airway. This can happen silently and quickly.
• Fall risk — Improperly secured carriers can result in the baby falling, leading to traumatic brain injury or death.
• Hip dysplasia — Carriers that don't support the natural "M" position can cause long-term hip joint damage.
• Overheating — Close body contact in poorly ventilated carriers can cause dangerous overheating in infants.

These risks are real, documented, and heartbreaking. We chose not to carry these products because we believe no sale is worth a child's life.
